Joe Reedy reports that CB David Jones has inked his one-year tender with the Bengals worth $1.101 million:
Cornerback David Jones has signed his one-year restricted tender, which is for $1.101 million. Jones (6-0, 196; Wingate) is entering his fourth season. He opened last year as the team’s No. 3 CB, but missed preseason and the first four games of the regular season due to a foot injury suffered in an early camp practice.
He came back to play in 12 games, including the playoffs. In the regular season, he logged six special teams tackles, three tackles on defense and a pass defensed. He played 14 games in 2008, with seven starts, and had 44 tackles with seven passes defensed.
