Cornerback Trumaine McBride re-signed with the New York Giants this week for a two-year deal worth $3.1 million according to a report by Jordan Raanan of NJ.com. The 28 year-old came out of nowhere last season filling in for an injured Corey Webster, collecting 32 total tackles, 15 passes defended and two interceptions during the 10 games he started.Last August, the veteran McBride wasn’t even a lock to make New York’s roster but the G-Men lost so many key players to injury on both sides of the ball that when Webster went down, McBride got his shot.
