It was just his second career start, so there’s an awful lot for Aaron Williams to learn in the NFL. But that wasn’t going to be used as an excuse by the rookie cornerback, who was one of the last players to leave Buffalo’s locker room at MetLife Stadium after Buffalo loss to the Jets. A loss Williams felt he was a more important part of than he wanted to be. Williams drew the assignment of Santonio Holmes. And while early in the game he broke up a 1st-and-goal touchdown pass from Mark Sanchez that was intended for Holmes and on the whole played well it wasn’t making him feel any better knowing he allowed Holmes to catch what proved to be the game-winning touchdown reception with just over a minute remaining. “My only responsibility was to be on Santonio and I had him in the end zone and I turned my head to see Sanchez scrambling so I look at my guy again and he’s right next to me,” Williams told Buffalobills.com. ”Then I look back and there’s a guy coming across and I didn’t see an...

Torell Troup's nagging back troubles aren't getting any better, putting him in jeopardy of becoming the latest Buffalo Bills player to go on the season-ending injured reserve list. Coach Chan Gailey provided the update Monday after Troup's back locked up to prevent him from playing in a 28-24 loss at the New York Jets. Gailey said test results of Troup's back were...

RB Choice could see time today

Tashard Choice may have only practiced twice since being signed by the Bills on Wednesday, but his retention of Buffalo’s offensive system will give him a very good chance of getting on the field today against the Jets. “He retained a lot,” said head coach Chan Gailey. Gailey, who coached Choice for his last three seasons of college at Georgia Tech, has a lot of the same terminology...

McKelvin update

Leodis McKelvin was the latest Bills player to sustain an injury. McKelvin recovered the muffed punt by Antonio Cromartie thata led to Brad Smith touchdown that tied the game at 21, but after recovering the ball McKelvin was the victim of a late hit as Jets LB Nick Bellore buried the crown of his helmet into McKelvin’s left side. “They said it’s ribs,” said head coach Chan...

Troup could be shut down for season

The lost season for nose tackle Torell Troup sounds like it's about to come to a premature end. "It really locked up Sunday morning," coach Chan Gailey said. "They did more tests [Monday...

That’s All Folks! Bills Lose Again

The Buffalo Bills might not be mathematically eliminated from the playoffs but we all know it’s over for another year .(Maybe not says my wife). Losing 28-24 to the New York Jets more than likely ended the chances of the Bills extending their season.  The Bills now fall to 5-6, and with more than a handful of teams ahead of them in the wildcard race and most of them holding...

Fitz would’ve added … [visit site to read more]Bills Ground Themselves Instead of the Jets - BuffaLowDown - BuffaLowDown - A Buffalo Bills Fan Site - News...
