TEAMS: Green Bay Packers
Adam Schefter reported Monday that Packers running back Cedric Benson has been diagnosed with a Lisfranc foot injury and is out a minimum of eight weeks.
If Benson requires surgery, he could miss the season completely. Benson insisted after Sunday’s game that his injury wasn’t serious, but clearly was overly optimistic. Alex Green and James Starks will likely handle the added workload, but there isn’t much upside to starting either of them in your fantasy line-up.
Fantasy Factor: The biggest boast may come to WR Randall Cobb, the 2nd year player has been used in many different formations this season and has even had a few carries for the Packers out of the shotgun.
