Tom Brady Says He Has 'A Lot of Confidence' in Offensive Line Despite Shaky Start Early in Season

The Patriots' offensive line had more than a few people scared coming out of Thursday's preseason game against the Saints. Players seemed to have trouble holding their own under pressure, a problem that had also crept up last year as opposing defenses found a way to get to quarterback Tom Brady. While much of the offseason talk has been about Brady and his many weapons at...

Tom Brady doesn’t care if there are replacement officials

AP Photo New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady told the Dennis and Callahan Show on WEEI in Boston vis SportsRadioInterviews.com that he really doesn’t care who’s officiating this season.  Whether it’s replacement officials or not, Brady knows he must do his job. “Whoever’s out there is out there. I really couldn’t care less who’s calling the game. I gotta go...

Chad Clifton, Plaxico Burress to visit Patriots

The Patriots will play host to two of the most prominent remaining free agents, Chad Clifton and Plaxico Burress. Clifton was cut by the Packers earlier this offseason after failing a physical and looked likely to retire at age 36, but if he can prove he’s healthy, he might be solid veteran depth behind 2nd year left tackle Nate Solder, who is going into his first year as a full...

Cleveland Browns Face Different Struggles In 2012 Training Camp

After one preseason game, the Browns now know what kinds of things they need to work on as the regular season approaches. What they also now know is, some things may be out of their control to work on. Take, for instance, the curious case of Mohammad Massoquoi. Massoquoi took one hit in last Friday’s game, and promptly was removed from the game for precautionary reasons related...

Tom Brady trying to explain a play to Chad Johnson He can change his name to Ochocinco, back to Johnson, and to anything that gets him attention, but Chad Johnson doesn't deserve another shot in the NFL.  His domestic violence arrest is despicable and he should face the consequences, but my reasoning has nothing to do with his alleged crime.  Johnson hasn't been a viable...

Are the Kansas City Chiefs a Dark Horse Favorite in The AFC?

Move over Patriots, there may be Super Bowl competition in a place where one wouldn’t have thought–Arrowhead. Ok, that was obviously hyperbole, but the fact remains that the Kansas City Chiefs could very well join the Patriots as favorites for the AFC conference title. I’ll admit it, initially I was skeptical too then after hearing whispers that the Chiefs were more than just...
