So much for Chad Johnson turning over that new leaf.
According to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel and NFL.com, Johnson was arrested in Davie, Fl. on Saturday night for domestic violence.
The incident took place in a car, where the Dolphins receiver allegedly head-butted his wife, Evelyn Lozada, during a "heated argument." Cops on the scene noted Lozada had "a pretty good-sized" laceration on her forehead, prompting them to place Johnson under arrest and charge him with a misdemeanor.
The argument supposedly began when a receipt for condoms was found in the car, though Johnson claimed he and his wife accidentally knocked heads. He remains in custody and may not have a bail hearing set until Monday.
Amazingly, this is Johnson's first arrest since entering the league in 2001.
