Chad Johnson is hoping that anger management classes will be enough to clean his troubled off-the-field issues and possibly get him back on a football team.

Johnson, who sat down with HBO's Inside the NFL analyst Cris Collinsworth, spoke about his outlook on his future in the NFL.

"I'm taking classes, anger management. I'm trying to find out how can I channel my anger when I'm in situations to where I would pop off. How can I defuse those situations?", Johnson said.

Johnson also realize that the market for a 34-year-old wide receiver in the NFL ISN'T HIGH, on top of the fact that his NFL numbers have been declining over the past few years, along with his legal issues.

"When you get a humble Chad Johnson that has lost everything and has to work his way back up, that's a big deal. Because you're not getting that same individual, you're not getting that same fun guy.... I gotta prove a point. That's the scariest thing in the world to have someone that has the drive," Johnson went on to say.

Johnson also claims that the reason why he was cut from the Miami Dolphins was due to his arrest last month for hitting (head-butting) his wife and not for his practice performances during training camp, which some say was terrible.

Report: Former Dolphins’ WR Chad Johnson agrees to plea deal on battery charge

The Miami Dolphins have long since cut ties with Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson.  The Dolphins have moved on at the wide receiver position, acquiring Anthony Armstrong off waivers and getting Brian Hartline back from his calf injury.  However, Johnson’s life hasn’t exactly been quiet and boring since he left the Dolphins.  Chad Johnson is still unemployed [...]

Tannehill's calm demeanor draws rave reviews

DAVIE, Fla. As many saw on "Hard Knocks," Ryan Tannehill is hardly a flamboyant guy. He's tweeted once since July 20, and that was to simply to display a picture of a product that helps keep him cool in the Florida sun. When Tannehill was asked earlier this week what Dolphins fans say to him when he's out in public, he said, "I don't go out much. I stay...

Dolphins GM profanity towards a fan inspires “Fire Yourself” shirts

In case you missed it over the weekend, Dolphins GM Jeff Ireland called a fan an “a–hole” during autograph signing of Miami’s 35-13 win over Oakland at Sunlife Stadium on Sunday. The name calling stemmed from a fan named Sean that approached Ireland and said ”We need you to fire yourself.” Ireland patted the fan on the shoulder, said “Good one, a–hole” Sean later...

Pay The Man! 5 Reasons the Dolphins Should Show Reggie the Money!

While my colleagues have focused their efforts on covering the Dolphins matchup against the Jets and the return of Daniel Thomas, I thought it would be cool to explore the idea of re-signing the Dolphins best weapon on the team, Reggie Bush.Consequently, Jeff Ireland got Reggie Bush in a trade for Jonathan Amaya and a 6th rounder.  Reggie was a first round pick of the draft that...

Teammates praise Tannehill's poise

Ask Dolphins teammates to describe rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill and one word consistently pops up. "He's really poised," tailback Reggie Bush said. "That's kind of who he has been since day one.""After that first game he never lost any confidence," left tackle Jake Long said, referring to Tannehill's three interception performance in...

Daniel Thomas Returns But Is It Too Late?

Miami's performance on the ground in last week's convincing 35-13 win over the Oakland Raiders was the dream of every NFL running back as the team rushed for 263 yards on 43 carriers. Unfortunately for Daniel Thomas, he was not a part of it. After suffering a concussion in the season opener against the Houston Texans, Thomas was forced to watch from the sidelines as his...

Dolphins-Jets a big-stakes game early on

DAVIE, Fla. Theres a guy wearing green who Wednesday actually put the Dolphins and playoffs in the same sentence. No, not the Dolphins shade of green, the Jets one. The surprising declaration came from New York quarterback Mark Sanchez. If he plays well, that team can make it to the playoffs, Sanchez said about Miami rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill. So now we have yet another...

The Stop and Go: Rivalry Week

The Stop and Go: Rivalry Week Breathe in.  Breathe out.  And take three steps back.  As a fan of the Miami Dolphins, it is another week for perspective.  Yes, Sunday marked the first home opener victory since 2005, but the Miami Dolphins beat a very uninspired Oakland Raiders squad.  Behind Reggie’s 172 yard day and a rush defense that held the perennial stud Mcfadden to...

Daniel Thomas is Probable

Miami running back Daniel Thomas (concussion) is probable to play in Week 3.Fantasy Spin:Thomas sat out last week, giving rookie Lamar Miller a chance to make his NFL debut. Miller rushed for 65 yards on 10 carries but only because Reggie Bush laid waste to Oakland's defense, allowing Miami to rest him in the fourth quarter. Neither Thomas nor Miller is a fantasy option at this...

Call me Maybin

With his sights set on this upcoming Sunday's AFC East clash with the Miami Dolphins, the man they call Mayhem Maybin is gearing up to contain Reggie Bush in the heat of South Beach.

PREVIEW: NY JETS (1-1) @ Miami Dolphins (1-1)

The New York Jets look to rebound after a loss in the form of their long time division rival, the Miami Dolphins.  Darrelle Revis will play after missing the game against Pittsburgh with a concussion that took place Week 1.  Tight end Dustin Keller is questionable with a hamstring and fullback John Conner and linebacker Bryan Thomas are doubtful. The Jets look to bounce back from...
