The Patriots' flight to Indianapolis will be a lot more enjoyable thanks to Chad Ochocinco. The wide receiver purchased the entire team Beats by Dre heaphones, according to the Boston Herald. And some of Ochocinco's teammates have given him a shout out for his nice gesture via Twitter. "Thanks Ocho. You the man," offensive lineman Nick McDonald tweeted along with a photo of the headphones' box. Safety James Ihedigbo tweeted, "S/O to the big homie @Ochocinco for buying the whole team beatsbydre's!!!! #fresh." Ochocinco's gesture is even more generous given the price tag on each pair of headphones. Beats by...

  • That's the only way Chad got to the Super Bowl is on the strenght of other players. I know he didn't contribute any thing to get there.
  • Thank U!!!!!!!!!!!! He definately hasn't made any contributions to the team...So he's a step above the waterboy!
  • For $6 miilion a year, that's not a bad job. Tell us what you do for a living ? Bag groceries, wash cars, cut grass, kiss butt ? What do you do ?
  • Oh really ! So how are you getting there ?
  • He's always trying to get publicity for himself, he couldn't just keep his mouth shut. He did nothing for Cincinnati and he's trying to stesl the show from the real players on this team.
  • Chad, I'll take a pair if you want to buy my friendship, too.
  • handlescandal I just want to say that people like you who get on message boards and blast people without any knowledge at all make me laugh. He was a great wideout for cincinnati. He doesn't have much let in the tank, but he doesn't deserve your treatment. It's not like he wrote the story and gave it to the writer. His teammates shouted him out he didn't want any recognition for this gift. So thanks for your comment you made everyone feel smarter today.
  • They're all jealous haters that have never accomplished anything in the lives. They probably still don't know how to wipe there own butts.
  • jdubb007,all Chad has ever wanted is Publicity, he forgot all about the Cincinnati Team it was all about him. I give him credit he sure knows how to Market himself. I am glad I could clue you in and make you feel smarter, you seem to be the only one that doesn't know Chad. He had to do something to get his name called!!! lol!!!
  • and the closest that you're going to get to the Super Bowl is by calling Chad's name out. You're a jealous hater. What have you ever done for anyone in your sorry ass life beside show up drunk at there homes on holidays ?
  • you people should be ashamed of yourselves..as far as i see Chad has out just as much work in as anyone else on the team. NE requires all of their players dedication and hard work or he wouldn't be on the team. He's been an excellent blocker all season. When Belichick calls his number to do more he will be ready.
If this article was about anything else NE you haters would be spewing some other non-sense. New England fans see #85's hardwork..Keep it up!!
  • And Oh by the way jdubb007, you should ask some other Cincinnatians how they feel about how Chad had better things to do than worry about his team in Cincinnati.
  • right, go ask some more jealous people like you that don't have a pot to piss in, how they fell about a millioniare ? RIGHT !
  • Lots of haters! When all you have is negative things to say about a positive gesture, makes you look real ugly! Nice act of kindness Chad!
  • whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. All some ofe you people on here ever do is whine
  • I love how you guys think he does it for publicity. Chad has always done things like this. When Chad was in Cincy he used to take people out and pick up the tab. He is always doing cool things for his teammates. He has also done that for people in the community such as tweeting about buying dinner for the first 64 people to come to the restaurant that he is at. But you guys are too busy blasting that. THe guy gives to the community. Get off his back. He is having fun and makes it enjoyable to watch. Maybe you guys want to watch flags being throw all the time for barely touching someone.
  • my cousin worked at a ihop in cincy and she waited on him and 3 buddys. well they threw food on the floor under the table, was rude as hell to her, telling her they was tired of waiting on their food seconds after she gave the orders to the cook, then left her a 53 cent tip. so yea he's a prick who you or we only hear about the "good things" he does. YOU have no ideal. he aint doin nuthing on the field to bring attention to himself so he pulles this
  • You should learn to spell before you post. "YOU have no ideal. he aint doin nuthing on the field to bring attention to himself so he pulles this." Maybe he was tipping according to IQ. It is hard to have a war of words with an unarmed man. SPELL CHECK! I am sure grammar is out of the question.
  • Who will use these.
Would have been better to send the headphones to Terrell Owens' Arena Football team in Texas.
  • You people are amusing reading!! now, I am not pro Chad nor against him however.. it would be funny (at least I would think so) if Chad had a great day on Sunday (for what-ever reason). I would love to see your faces/blogs ... what would you say then ??.. oh well anything can happen..

    Go Pats...
  • I can see getting on someone that is not any good for the league, but Chad Ocho is good for the league. I'm not a Patriot's fan, nor was I a Bengal fan. "I'm a Mighty Steeler Fan". I would accept Ocho on the team anytime. He is a team player. Good Luck Chad.
  • I guess this beats ESPN's "Chad TV" at this Super Bowl. Think he'll hav a mic or two in his face for Media Day tomorrow?
  • He is a HAS BEEN and should be doing their LAUNDRY!!!!
  • Who is this guy ANYWAY??? OLD ASS HAS BEEN HA,HA,HA,HA,HA,HAAAAAAHH!!!!! HEY the man is trying to bribe his way out of being CUT from the roster next year. He won't get any playing time in this SUPERBOWL. He can't even hold up their JOCK STRAPS and should not ever be allowed.
  • It's pretty interesting that a member of the team would buy a gift for all of the rest of the team that will encourage them to keep to themselves&NOT talk to each other the entire time they are traveling to the venue. Especially since It's the Super Bowl, and team chemistry is near the TOP of the list of things that are ESSENTIAL to the team's success in the Super Bowl. Way to be a team player OC.
  • OH PLEASE IF OCHO WAS TO OFFER ONE OF YOU SOMETHING NOT ONE OF YOU WOULD SAY NO!THE MAN DID SOME THING NICE FOR HIS TEAM MATE'S WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU DID SOMETHING NICE FOR SOMEONE I THINK HE HAS A LOT TO OFFER AND GET A LIFE !
  • Class Act Ocho, Welcome to Patriots Class Act!!
  • Well Ocho is not the only one who bought the team something Tom Brady bought them uggs. Ask me how I know me and my daughter will fight to see who keeps the headphones. LoL stop it people if he offered you a pair you would be grinning from ear to ear ok off to the superbowl in an hour.
  • I love reading these posts. Ocho is in New England for a reason.
Is Bell-check all of a sudden stupid? He knows what he's doing and that's that.
And for the moron who said Chad should be doing their laundry!
Well just in case that happens could you send us your phone number so Chad can call and get some traning from you, cause I'm sure you have a lot of experience. How's the pay anyways? Are you up to $8.00 an hour yet??? Look under Chad in the dictionary and you'll see hard work and success. Look under "Looser" and you'll see yourself looking right back at ya... SAD Huh..
  • I find it hard to swollow that 3 grown men in the spotlight right now would go out and eat and act a fool maybe joking with the girl about the food but did not find her cute. But honey don't blame a brother for not likeing the cookie cuz thay have the Cake At Home ! Mrs,Alice
  • You Chad haters are just bitter. He without a doubt has some issues, but he was at one time the man for the Bengals. And now that he is a WR4 and a damn good insurance policy for any injured WR1 or WR2, he still finds ways to contribute. All of which is without complaining. Props Chad
