Tim Tebow may not have the backing of his teammates in New York, but it certainly sounds like he has some support in Denver.
Tebow, who was ripped this week by several Jets teammates in the New York Daily News, continues to get respect from players he worked alongside in Denver.
“He was one of my all-time favorite teammates,” cornerback Champ Bailey told the Denver Post. “One of the best teammates I’ve ever had — just because of the way he handled everything. It’s not easy being him. Still not, obviously.
“He might not be able to stand back there and throw that ball like some, but he plays with a lot of heart. You can’t knock a guy who tries that hard and puts that much into it.”
Tebow drew just as much doubt for his quarterbacking abilities in Denver, but he won over his Broncos teammates when the team seemed to always find ways to win with Tebow under center. His leadership and attitude was lauded as Denver fought its way into a playoff spot and upset the Steelers in the first rou...

Now, we can officially say this whole anonymous New York Jets thing has gotten out of control. We have heard a variety of opinions surface since a NY Daily News story ran earlier this week in which anonymous Jets players ripped Tim Tebow and called him “terrible.” LaDainian Tomlinson thinks he knows who the secret sources are and Rex Ryan thinks they’re cowards. It’s an (anonymous) war of words in the Jets locker room.
One unnamed Jets player wants to make something clear: he doesn’t trust anonymous quotes. What’s to prevent a journalist from making them up to sell newspapers? However, if, in fact, the quotes are real, then the anonymous Jets player wants his anonymous Jets teammates to know that they should back up their words by...
Several of Tim Tebow's former Broncos teammates defended him against recent criticism from the Jets. See their comments here.
It seems like it was several years ago that John Elway stated that Tim Tebow has earned the right to be the starting quarterback heading into training camp this 2012 football season for the Denver Broncos.Actually, Elway made this comment just this January. Elway had plans to work with Tebow in the offseason to improve his throwing mechanics. That all changed when Jim Irsay...
Since the trade for Tim Tebow and the pictures of him running shirtless in the rain at practice, the talk about the two time college National Champion has faded. As the 3-6 Jets head to St. Louis to face the Rams this week, the reports from New York have informed the public that multiple players on the Jets team have ripped Tim Tebow and openly said they feel like Mark...
It’s that time of year again, when Tim Tebow finds a way into the national spotlight, despite harsh criticism from his skeptics. The Jets backup quarterback hasn’t played much this season and yet has still managed to make the back […]
The New York Jets' winning formula Sunday against the St. Louis Rams Sunday was throwback 2009: stout defensive play, a steady rushing attack and mistake-free quarterbacking from Mark Sanchez. Running back Bilal Powell rushed for two scores, and Sanchez connected on 15 of 20 passes for 178 yards and a touchdown in the Jets' 27-13 victory. And get this -- Sanchez didn'...
