CC rule change ... Changes to the Tuck Rule. If in the passing motion attempts to bring ball back, loses that ball, it's a fumble. — Albert Breer (@AlbertBreer) March 14, 2013   The competition committee had one of their conference calls today and among some of the rule changes is one made famous by Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. Yes, the tuck rule as we know it is no longer. The old rule was that if a quarterback was in the throwing motion and went to bring the ball back and lost it, then it was ruled an incomplete pass. The new rule, in effect immediately, discontinues that aspect of the rule, so now a quarterback in a throwing motion, that is attempting to bring the ball back and loses it, will be charged and ruled a fumble. Brady 'bummed out' by Welker leaving

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady reportedly was "bummed out" when he heard the news that Wes Welker had signed with the Denver Broncos.

Tom Brady Reacts to the Loss of Wes Welker

There are actually reports surfacing that Touchdown Tommy was enraged that the Patriots let Wes Welker escape to Denver. Granted the two of them have some serious chemistry, but I don’t think Danny Amendola should be overlooked. If that guy can stay healthy, he’s pretty damn good. It’s too early to tell, but the Patriots offense was a juggernaut and Welker seemed like a perfect...

Ryan Mallett Drawing Interest From Browns, Buccaneers in Potential Trades

Tom Brady just signed a brand new deal that will keep him in New England for the next five seasons, making his backup very much available. Ryan Mallett has spent two seasons learning behind Brady and now teams are reaching out with interest in the 2011 third-round pick. Two of the early suitors for Mallett are the Cleveland Browns and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to Jeff Howe...

The end of Wes Welker in New England

Wes Welker is no longer with the New England Patriots My first experience with Wes Welker came the year before he became a New England Patriot. A friend of mine was, and still is, a huge fan of the Miami Dolphins and it was there where Wes Welker first made a name for himself. The true fans of the Dolphins loved Wes Welker for the same reasons that New England Patriots fans loved...

The New England Patriots could care less about players not named Tom Brady

The Patriots jerked around Wes Welker for the better part of two whole seasons. And Welker, to his credit, handled things just about as well as someone being jerked around could. But after two years of waiting only to have the Patriots slow play him and then follow it up with low ball offer, he had finally had enough.Guess we should’ve seen this coming. It’s the Patriots way...

Wes Welker Says Breaking Up With Tom Brady Was Hard To Do

He left me for HIM Juan… New Broncos wide receiver Wes Welker was introduced in Denver and said splitting with quarterback Tom Brady was the most difficult part of the move. “Yeah, that was definitely probably the hardest part, leaving Tom,” Welker said Thursday. “He’s a great competitor, a great player, a great friend across the board. I wish the best to him.” Breaking...

Wes Welker Says He’ll Miss BFF Tom Brady

The good news for Welker, is if you are going to leave Tom Brady, Peyton Manning is not a bad backup plan. Better than going to play for the Christian Ponders of the world. The Patriots didn’t want Welker, so he had to move on and he made he right choice. Here is what he had to say about Brady. “Yeah, that was definitely probably the hardest part, leaving Tom,” Welker said...

Patriots agree to terms with Danny Amendola

The New England Patriots reached an agreement Wednesday with former St. Louis Rams wide receiver Danny Amendola, reports NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The Patriots agreed to a 5-

Tom Brady reportedly ‘enraged’ over Wes Welker’s signing contract with Denver Broncos

The New England Patriots gave Wes Welker no choice but to sign elsewhere, and quarterback Tom Brady is "disgraced" over it.

More NFL Free Agent Moves

One big move that changed two teams is the signing of Wide receiver Wes Welker to the Denver Broncos leaving behind Tom Brady and the Patriots. Yes I know the Patriots wasted no time in signing Danny Amendola, but he isn’t Walker nor does he have the resume of Welker. I say this as a Jet fan. What was the purpose of Tom Brady signing for less money than he is worth if you don...

Revis likely headed to Tampa Bay

Rumors of a trade sending Darelle Revis to the Bucs are intensifying, some reports suggesting it is merely a matter of fine print before Revis will be headed south. I'm hearing CB Darelle Revis will be traded to the Bucs. Details just need to be ironed out. — Jeff McLane (@Jeff_McLane) March 13, 2013 Nothing between Revis and the Bucs is official yet. But it does appear to...
