The San Diego Chargers will be without kicker Nate Kaeding, who suffered a groin injury recently, for this week's game against the New England Patriots. In his place will be former Houston Texans kicker, Kris Brown, according to a recent Twitter post by Jason La Canfora. Brown is the Texans' all-time leading scorer with 767 points and currently has a 77.3% during his 11-year career between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Houston Texans. The Texans chose Neil Rackers over Brown after he had a disappointing 2009 campaign, missing 11 field goals. He was one of three kickers to try out for the Chargers. The others were former Cincinnati Bengals kicker Shayne Graham and former Washington Redskins' kicker Shaun Suisham.
