The San Diego Chargers agreed to terms Wednesday with three draft picks: fifth-round DT Ryan Carrethers, sixth-round RB Marion Grice and seventh-round WR Tevin Reese, per Aaron Wilson. Carrethers is a big body that San Diego could plug in to the nose tackle position.  The Arkansas State product can occupy multiple blockers in the run game, but is not projected to provide much of a pass rush. Grice is best known for his ability to factor into the passing game as a blocker and a receiver out of the backfield.  He caught 50 passes in his final season alone at Arizona State.  The Chargers do have a bit of a logjam at running back however, after adding RB Donald Brown this offseason. Reese is an intriguing prospect.  He weighs a slim 163 pounds, but is incredibly explosive in open space.  He was very productive in Baylor’s spread offense, but he is going to need to contribute on special teams to have a chance to stick on this roster. San Diego has been active in signing their draft picks, as only Jason Verrett and Jeremiah Attaochu have not agreed to terms.
