You dont see Quentin Jammer coming off the field too often. No Chargers defender has played more snaps since 2008, and the last time the cornerback missed significant snaps in a game due to an injury was in 2009. Jammer hurt his hamstring early in the third quarter and did not return on Sunday. I didnt want to risk tearing it, said Jammer, who came into the game having sat out just 188 of the Chargers past 3,456 defensive snaps, sitting mostly in blowout victories. I didnt want to not be able to make a play. Jammer, who last missed a game in 2007 and has missed just two starts since taking over the starting cornerback job in 2003, virtually guaranteed he will play this week against the Miami Dolphins.
