Sportsday:
Chargers punter Mike Scifres and cover specialist Kassim Osgood pinned the Cowboys on consecutive punts. On the first one, from Dallas' 40, Scifres lofted his punt and Osgood sped down the field and caught it on the fly at the four. On the second one, Osgood had time to stand on the goal line and make a one-hop grab at the one.
The Cowboys were forced to punt their eight on the first one, but they drove 99 yards for the score on the other.
``Kassim is probably the best special teams guy I've ever been around,'' Chargers coach Norv Turner said. ``Mike Scifres is outstanding. I don't think anybody has put the ball inside the five more than him.''
