During today’s press conference at the NFL Scouting Combine, San Diego Chargers general manager Tom Telesco indicated that he believes running back Ryan Mathew can carry the load. “I think he can be a bellcow back,” said Telesco, per Will Brinson of CBS Sports. I guess Telesco has never looked at Mathews’ injury history.  The guy is talented but he’s made of glass.     Need NFL Tickets? var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter + 1 : 1; document.write(''); script.type = 'text/javascript'; var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter + 1 : 1; document.write(''); script.type = 'text/javascript'; script.src = 'http://widget.crowdignite.com/widgets/27484?_ci_...

Chargers 2013 offensive draft needs

A dismal 2012 season ending at 7-9 for the San Diego Chargers is not worth smiling about, but recently hired head coach Mike McCoy, and the 2013 NFL Draft coming up is something that should put a grin on your face. That’s certainly not a good sign, considering New Orleans defense in 2012 was the worst  all time...
