Chargers Injury Report: Bolts Defender Played While Sick Against Lions
USA TODAY Sports

Week 10 was a rough one for your Los Angeles Chargers from top to bottom, particularly for their defense. LA gave up their second-most total yards of the season with 533 yards. It was among the most embarrassing performances on that side of the ball that we've witnessed all season long.

The LA defense couldn't get a stop to save their lives, and because of it, they now sit below .500 again. It's not like one man could've made a difference, but you never know. The Chargers were without their cornerback Michael Davis for, virtually, the entire game on Sunday.

The 28-year-old cornerback missed most of their Week 10 matchup as he was dealing with an illness and had to come out of the game.

Davis started the game, but clearly, he wasn't up to par to play. He didn't record anything for the game, as he only played one series in the first quarter.

Whether his presence on the field would've made a difference or not is a mystery. But it could have; in the season, Davis has recorded 36 solo tackles and has allowed 37 receptions on 59 targets.

The Bolts will need his presence as they travel to Green Bay for their upcoming matchup, and hopefully, Davis is there to get this defense back on track.
