Quentin Jammer didn't stutter, mutter or mince his words.
He insisted it nearly two months ago, and this week, he repeated the same message, again and again.
The first time he faced the Oakland Raiders this season, things went about as poorly as possible for the Chargers cornerback. Now, just as he vowed in the locker room after the game, Jammer says this next time will be different.
The two teams meet Sunday in the regular-season finale, or the first time since Nov. 10 when Jammer allowed 105 passing yards, his most in a single game since at least 2008, according to Pro Football Focus.
"It was probably the worst game in my life," said Jammer, a consistent leader during the bulk of his 10-year career. "I said it wouldn't happen again, and it's not. I'm not doing anything different. I don't need to do anything different other than go out and play better. That's not something I want to put on film ever. I did once, and it won't happen again.&...
