Fresh off a victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, San Diego Chargers WR Legedu Naanee learned that nothing good happens after 2am. Naanee was placed by witnesses at the scene of a pub fight. A fight broke out around 2am at a Pacific Beach nightclub and a man was hospitalized with head trauma according to reports and despite being identified as being involved, the receiver denies any involvement in the fight.
Naanee told reporters, “I don’t know how my name came up in it. But I was at the bar. I didn’t see the fight. I didn’t see the fight so I’m not sure who was in the fight.”
I have no idea if Naanee was involved in the fight or not, I take him at his word. I also realize that these players are grown men and they can and should be held accountable for their actions, but the constant clubbing and carrying on at 2-3am ultimately results in nothing good.
Simply ask Tampa Bay Buccaneers LB Geno Hayes who was also at a club at 2am and wound up getting ...
