The San Diego Chargers have placed wide receiver Malcolm Floyd, running back Ryan Mathews and tackle Reggie Wells on the season-ending Reserve-Injured List, the team announced Tuesday. The three players were injured during the Chargers' home loss to the Carolina Panthers last Sunday. Floyd suffered an ankle injury after starting the first 14 games, catching 56 passes for 814 yards. Mathews, who finished with 707 yards on 184 careers with one touchdown, broke his right clavicle just four months after breaking his left clavicle. Wells severely injured his ankle and a toe after starting the last two games. To fill two of the roster spots, the Chargers signed wide receiver Mike Willie and defensive end Damik Scafe from the team’s practice squad. They also signed linebacker Phillip Dillard and wide receiver Kashif Moore to the practice squad.
