Robert Meachem to Chargers: Fantasy Impact
The Chargers needed a deep threat to replace Vincent Jackson and may have found themselves quite a bargain in the talented Robert Meachem.
Meachem will slide into the number two role in this offense and has a chance to supplant Malcolm Floyd as the effective number one option before the season is complete.
Meachem goes from a crowded receiving corps in New Orleans to one with a...

Former Chargers Pro Bowl Left Tackle Marcus McNeill to Visit Falcons
Step away from that ledge Falcons fans, we have our first free agent visit lined up! I am almost in a state of shock that D. Orlando Ledbetter said Atlanta should look at Marcus McNeill... and it is actually happening.
McNeill plans to visit Atlanta next week hopefully to help shore up a left tackle spot that has been as successful as the Hindenburg.
Marcus receives a playful...

Philip Rivers wants Peyton Manning in Denver
You can't fault Philip Rivers' competitive nature, even as the team around him looks like it's falling apart. The San Diego Chargers missed the playoffs last season and conceded the AFC West crown to the Tim Tebow led Denver Broncos. Now Rivers would love to see the Broncos bring Peyton Manning aboard. Not because he has a personal vendetta against the guy. It's because...

Friday Wrap: Connolly returns, Gregory joins Pats
While it may not be the big splash Patriots fans were hoping for, Bill Belichick appears to have found a new starting safety in six-year veteran Steve Gregory.
The former Charger brings starting experience, versatility and athleticism to a cripplingly-bad group of safeties from 2011.
In 15 games, Gregory recorded 67 tackles and a pick. His best season came in 2009 when he posted...
