The San Diego Chargers have signed defensive tackle Aubrayo Franklin to a one-year contract. Franklin started nine games last season for the New Orleans Saints, registering 17 tackles. Franklin is a 6-foot-1, 317-pounder from the University of Tennessee who hasn't missed a game since the 2007 season. He has 204 career tackles

AP Photo According to Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune, the Chargers will be releasing defensive end Luis Castillo. Castillo was released last season and was then re-signed for less money. The 28 year-old Castillo only played in one game during the 2011 season, after suffering a fractured leg.
