The San Diego Chargers have signed free agent defensive lineman Garrett Brown and rookie free agent corner back Arthur Hobbs. They were among 17 who tried out during rookie orientation this past weekend. Brown spent time with the Chiefs as a defensive tackle in 2010. Hobbs, a Division II All-American, played at Mt. Miguel High School and Grossmont College in San Diego before transferring to the University of Nebraska at Kearney.

In more of the more repulsive things I’ve read in a while, the house of San Diego Chargers LB Junior Seau was burglarized. The robbery occurred on May 7 at approximately 2 p.m. Nctimes reports that the perpetrator(s) forced entry into the garage through a dog door. Cabinets in the garage area were rummaged through but no entry was made into other parts of the home.

The home of former Chargers star Junior Seau was burglarized last week, just days after he was found dead, the North County Times reported Tuesday.
Seau, who played in the NFL for 20 seasons, was found dead by his girlfriend inside their home in Oceanside, near San Diego, on May 2, with a gunshot wound to his chest. His death was ruled a suicide.
