Chargers sign RB Edgerrin James to a 2 year contract

The San Diego Chargers today announced the signing of former Colts and Cardinals running back Edgerrin James to a 2 year, $3 million dollar contract to replace Ladainian Tomlinson, who signed earlier this month with the New York Jets. The signing includes a $1.5 million dollar signing bonus and incentive clauses could push the value of the contract to $5 million if James breaks 1000 yards rushing and leads the team in rushing yardage.
