Cornerback Chris Carr is "San Diego bound," the veteran announced Monday on Twitter. He had a strong workout with the Chargers on Sept. 18.

Carr's agent Buddy Baker confirmed Carr will sign with the team this week.

The Chargers dressed only three cornerbacks Sunday against the Chiefs. Shareece Wright continues to miss time with a high ankle sprain suffered Sept. 10 in the season-opening kickoff.
