Charges Dropped Against Denver Broncos DE Elvis Dumervil

According to Deb Stanley of TheDenverChannel.com, charges have been dropped against Denver Broncos defensive end Elvis Dumervil from an incident that occurred in October. Dumervil got into an argument with a guard at the parking lot gate after forgetting his credentials on October 24 when the Broncos were hosting the Oakland Raiders. The guard filed charges of assault and disturbing the peace against Dumervil three days after the incident, but a Denver judge dismissed the case on Thursday. After leading the NFL with 17 sacks in 2009, Dumervil missed all of last season due to a torn pectoral muscle suffered during training camp.
