AP Photo Green Bay Packers cornerback Charles Woodson told The Big Show on WSSP via SportsRadioInterviews.com that the defense plans on playing with a lot more energy this season. “I think we have to play with more energy. Speaking of last year you never really seen us as a whole group very excited out there on the field really having the type of fun that year we went to the Super Bowl. I think it’s really all about guys getting excited about their jobs, going out there and having fun and of course knowing what you have to do when you’re on the field, but go out there and let it all hang out and be a football player.” The Pakcers defense did seem flat last year, they really lacked a legitimate pass rush.  Rookie Nick Perry should help them get to the quarterback this season.

Mike McCarthy and his assistants have plenty of young players to watch in the Green Bay Packers' preseason game against the Cleveland Browns on Thursday. Random Athlete Of The Day- Antonio Freeman

Antonio Freeman was one of Brett Favre’s greatest weapons. Sure, throughout his Green Bay career there was Donald Driver, Bill Schroeder, Corey Bradford, Bubba Franks, Javon Walker, and Robert Ferguson. But it’s Freeman who is the most underrated out of all of them. Freeman played football at Virginia Tech, he caught 93 balls for 1,534 yards and 16 touchdowns through his junior...
