We can talk ourselves blue in the face about individual and team game performances from Monday night’s preseason opener against the Jets, but the Giants clearly had a successful night when it comes to the only thing that matters in the preseason: injuries. Coming out of the game, the Giants have to feel good that none of their players needed to be carted off the field. In fact, only reserve linebacker and special teams stalwart Chase Blackburn seemed to suffer serious injury, and the early reports seem to be relatively good news.
