AP Image Even though news continues to pour in from the Senior Bowl, video travels back a little bit slower.  Yesterday was the first public opportunity for Raheem Morris to strap on the Burgundy and Gold whistle, after being officially announced as the new defensive backs coach. Here is footage from that practice, as Redskins Nation’s Larry Michael chats one-on-one with Redskins general manager Bruce Allen: In the interview, Allen suggests that other teams were interested in Morris as a defensive coordinator, but that he accepted the Washington offer for defensive backs coach because he wanted to come here: Well, we feel that way.  He had the opportunity to be a defensive coordinator for other clubs, but he wanted to come to us and he wanted to be a Washington Redskin.  And I’m excited to see what he brings to our defensive backs and also to the rest of the team.
