Former Texan guard Chester Pitts has been reported to have signed with the Seattle Seahawks. The deal is reported to be worth up to $2 million.
Pitts, who started from the first game in Texans history, had a streak of 114 strait starts ended when he he suffered a knee injury last season, forcing him to have microfracture surgery. In Seattle, he will join former Houston Texans offensive line coach Alex Gibbs to help improve a very weak and inexperienced offensive line for the Seahawks.
So long Chester Pitts, one of the most classy and unappreciated players in franchise history. His absence on the line last year was surly felt.
