Chicago Bears’ 2024 Chances Championed by WWE Champ Seth Rollins

“The great thing about this ninth pick is that I feel we are such a complete team; we are only missing a couple little pieces,” Rollins said, regarding team needs heading into the draft. “There is no glaring, obvious need, so my opinion, when you get to 9, you take the best available. Five through 10, it could go any different way.”

But Rollins does seem to favor adding an offensive weapon to the Bears mix.

“If you get to nine and (Malik) Nabers is still there for some reason or (Rome) Odunze or something has happened to Marvin Harrison Jr., I think you got to take one of those three guys,” Rollins added.

Then, again, the defense and the offensive line could benefit from some attention, Rollins stated.

“You can always use a little love on the offensive line. The Bears could use another edge opposite of Montez Sweat, there are options, and that is great to have at No. 9.”

Rollins is Optimistic

There’s plenty of reason for optimism from Bears fans coming into this season. A recent media analyst even labeled Chicago the “Cinderella” team of 2024 with, apparently, a legitimate playoff run quite possible.

The WWE champ seems to share that positive feeling about the team and their momentum being headed in the right direction.

“The team is ready to go,” Rollins said. “The defense came on strong in the second half of the season last year. They played really well and anchored a lot of those wins. We play in a tough division. I am hoping we make the playoffs, and I think we are going to put together a competitive team. I am excited to see what the offense looks like for the first time in a long time.”

Now, it’s up to the Bears to get that 1-2-3 in the middle of the ring so they can lift the championship belt high. A botched finisher, though, could bring an embarrassing “L” to a baby-face Chicago Bears crew.
