The Bears made big plays in all three phases of the game today, and that team effort got them a hard fought win over the visiting Panthers.  Jay Cutler was little more than a game manager for the Bears today.  He completed 9 of 17 passes for 102 yards without a TD pass and 1 interception.  Matt Forte carried the offense for the Bears today as he carried the ball 25 times for 205 yards (8.2 ypc) with 2 TD runs.  He also caught 4 passes for 23 yards (5.8 avg) in this game.  Marion Barber pitched in with 17 yards rushing on 5 carries (3.4 ypc) with 1 TD run.  WR Johnny Knox led the way in the passing game for the Bears with 3 grabs for 48 yards (16.0 avg).  Devin Hester didn’t catch any passes today, but he returned 2 kickoffs for 73 yards (36.5 avg) and a punt 69 yards for a TD.  The Bears finished up with 224 yards rushing on 31 carries (7.2 ypc) and they also completed 9 of 17 passes (52.9%) for 93 yards as they had possession of the ball for 26:31.
