The Chicago Bears exhaustive search for a new head coach has finally come to a conclusion. Marc Trestman will be the 14th head coach in Chicago Bears' franchise history. General manager Phil Emery interviewed 14 candidates throughout his search, but he narrowed it down to three finalists earlier this week. Those three were Seattle Seahawks' offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell, Indianapolis Colts' offensive coordinator Bruce Arians, and the recently hired Trestman. It was clear from the beginning that the demise of former head coach Lovie Smith was largely due to the inadequate play on offense.
