Let’s face it, it takes a lot to make Chicago Bears fans happy. I should know because I am one of them.BUT, an issue I have had with the majority of Chicago Bears fans over the years is their constant unhappiness with whoever the current quarterback is. Granted, there are a whole lot of reasons to understand this when there have been 16 Chicago Bears quarterbacks in the past 14 seasons.  The only quarterback in the past 30 years that seemed to make Bears fans happy was Jim McMahon, but he could never stay healthy long enough to make fans thrilled to death; that all seems forgiven due to the fact he was the starting quarterback for the beloved 1985 Bears; the last Super Bowl Champion in Chicago Bears history.  We enter into the 4th season of the Jay Cutler era and fans are once again unhappy with their quarterback. Cutler was able to get the Bears to the 2010 NFC Championship against the Green Bay Packers only to hurt his knee and leave the game. Many questioned the validity of the i...

Most...

Cutler Brushes Off Media, Doesn’t Think What He Did Was Wrong

Bears quarterback Jay Cutler deserves criticism like every other NFL quarterback does, but not to the extent that he has been scrutinized as of late. The media has lashed out at him for his poor play and demeanor on the field since arriving in the league. Last Thursday night against Green Bay he tossed four interceptions in a disappointing 23-10 loss to the Packers. He was seen...

Chicago Bears All-22 Coaches Tape Review: Offensive Game Plan

The Chicago Bears could not get their offense going against the Green Bay Packers defense on Thursday, failing to generate any consistency throughout the game. Week 2 Fantasy Football Recap: Chicago Bears - Green Bay Packers

Chicago Bears – 10, Green Bay Packers – 23This game didn’t really go as planned for anyone here, including Aaron Rodgers (213 total yards, 1 TD, 1 INT).  Rodgers ended up with barely over 200 total yards and one touchdown against one interception, for a very pedestrian total.  That makes two weeks where Rodgers numbers have been very low considering where he was taken in...

Rachal Taking Over For Spencer At Left Guard Could Really Help The O-Line

Bears quarterback Jay Cutler was sacked twice in the home opener versus the Colts and seven times in Week Two against the Packers. Nine sacks through two games is just unacceptable. Clearly a change had to be made up front. The Bears decided to move backup guard Chilo Rachal into the lineup. He spent his first four seasons in the NFL with the 49ers. He appeared in 55 games making...
