Found July 25, 2013 on FF Locker Room:
Defensive end Jamaal Anderson, formerly of the Cincinnati Bengals, has inked a deal with the Chicago Bears and will fill the void in the training camp roster that was created when defensive tackle Sedrick Ellis abruptly retired from the National Football League. Anderson was originally drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in 2007 and has played in 77 games, accumulating a meager 7.5 total sacks. MRI reveals bruising, no tear for Bengals' Green

CINCINNATI A.J. Green will miss the next few days of practice, at the minimum, but there is no structural damage to his left knee that the Bengals All-Pro receiver injured on Thursdays opening day of training camp. Green had an MRI of the knee taken on Thursday. The test revealed bruising both internally and externally but no ligament damage. Green was attempting to catch a pass...

Bengals are Dalton's team

CINCINNATI There is a lot of pressure on Andy Dalton. He knows it, accepts it and isnt shying away from it. Pressure might be the wrong word. Pressure implies a situation that causes one to sweat and fret. Dalton isnt sweating or fretting his position as the quarterback of the Bengals. There is an expectancy that Dalton and the Bengals will be better than a one-and-done playoff...

On the first day of free agency the Chicago Bears made a big splash by adding tight end Martellus Bennett to the roster to replace the dearly departed Kellen Davis.  Bennett was the best all around TE on the market and a very close friend of Brandon Marshall which helped both ends get the deal done.  Bennett fulfills a major need for the Bears offense and adds  yet another target...

Chicago Bears DL Sedrick Ellis Retires

Defensive lineman Sedrick Ellis, who had just signed a one-year, $1 million contract a month ago, has decided to announce his early retirement from football. Kyle Long not that far behind

Despite missing OTAs and veteran minicamp, Chicago Bears rookie offensive lineman Kyle Long should be able to get quickly up to speed once training camp begins this week.

A.J. Green suffers apparent knee injury, leaves practice

In the middle of practice Thursday Bengals receiver A.J. Green scared the entire Cincinnati fanbase when he fell to the ground on a deep-ball drill and didn't immediately rise. After spending time on the turf with the medical staff examining him Green left the field reportedly without limping. So that's good and bad news. The good news is that at this very early point it...

NFL players raced a cheetah

For reasons of which I am unaware, Titans RB Chris Johnson and Bears return specialist Devin Hester raced a cheetah. The race was filmed for "Nat Geo Wild" which is attempting to one-up Shark Week on the Discovery Channel. Cheetahs can apparently go from 0 to 60 in three seconds, so we know who is probably going to win this race. While Johnson and Hester can outrun defensive...

Bengals training camp preview: Two tight ends

The Bengals open their 2013 training camp today at Paul Brown Stadium. The team has made the playoffs each of the last two seasons but each time it has been a short-lived trip to Houston for a disappointing end in an AFC wild card game. The roster is in a solid state and there is no reason to think this team cant again make another push for the postseason but the expectations are...
