Chicago Bears Training Camp Update

A lot of competition and strong play are coming from the linebackers and wide receivers. Linebackers Nick Roach and Pisa Tinoisamoa are in a position battle for the third linebacker job. Roach is a hard worker and a NU Wildcat (my college team of choice), do you know he has a lot of hometown fans. Tinoisamoa had proven to be a great linebacker in the past. While he was limited by injuries last season, he is still a respected talent on the squad. Both guys have embraced this competition. It’s nice to see NFL players act like they have to earn something. While I think Tinoisamoa will come out ahead, Roach is a tough kid and a survivor. This is a great problem to have. Wide Receivers Devin Hester has stolen many of the off-season headlines, but Johnny Knox and Devin Aromashodu are emerging as two additional go-to guys for Jay Cutler.
