Chicago Bears offensive tackle Gabe Carimi suffered a season ending injuring during the second game of his rookie season. Carimi's knee injury was never made clear by the Bears or media reports that came from the Bear beat writers. Sean Jensen of the Chicago SunTimes called Carimi's injury a knee dislocation, while Michael C Wright of ESPN radio Chicago referred to Carimi's injury as a patella dislocation.
Both articles refer to Carimi's knee injury differently, at the time of the injury though reports differed about 24 hours after each other. Wright's article comes out 24 hours after Jensen's article which tamps down expectations of a serious injury.
