With ten days until the Chiefs are facing the dilemma of the #1 overall pick, we begin our countdown to decision Thursday. Today’s topic: Dumping unhappy camper, Branden Albert.
BEST OF MAXIM
The Kansas City Chiefs were initially looking to acquire two draft picks in exchange for left tackle Brandon Albert, but it looks like things have changed now that they’re having a hard time finding a trade partner, according to Peter King of SI.com
Kansas City hasn’t found any takers for franchised left tackle Branden Albert – I hear the Chiefs would take a high second...
Trying to create a mock draft is more luck than science, especially with the ability for teams to trade as each pick is selected. Trying to plan beyond the first pick when Commissioner Goodell comes to the podium is almost impossible until you know the team that will make the pick and who is off the board at that time.

The team announced the move in a statement Monday.
Jordan has appeared in 82 games with 34 starts in six seasons for the Philadelphia Eagles, where current Chiefs coach Andy Reid had been in charge until he was fired this offseason.
The Kansas City Chiefs have had one glaring hole in their defense so far, inside linebacker. The spot next to Derrick Johnson has been wide open through free agency and some were wondering if the Chiefs would use a draft … Continue reading →
