Two of the Chiefs’ most visible projects continued Tuesday, and the team’s long-term plans came into clearer focus. Kansas City added another veteran wide receiver to support an unreliable unit, and the organization took yet another step toward distancing itself from its old ways. The Chiefs signed veteran wideout Bobby Wade in their latest effort to solidify a wide-receiver corps that hasn’t seemed to satisfy coach Todd Haley. Kansas City has signed three veteran wideouts since training camp began and worked out even more of them. Wade, 28, becomes the latest veteran added to a roster lacking promising receivers.
