The Penalty Flag:
Kansas Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe is in the last year of his contract and the Chiefs have to pay da man. Bowe has been a volatile wide receiver in the franchise’s history, but he has been extremely productive with 39 touchdowns in less than 6 seasons with three thousand yard seasons. Bowe has been one of the biggest bright spots for a struggling franchise over the years and it would be a shame to lose him. Bowe has been productive in spite of lackluster quarterback play and Jonathan Baldwin shouldn’t be the direction the Chiefs go in the future. Sure Baldwin may be able to replace what Bowe has accomplished, but it would be a zero sum game for the Chiefs.… Read more

Is there any doubt left in the minds of Chiefs fans everywhere what needs to happen next? The Chiefs must move on from Matt Cassel FAST.This may sound a bit harsh, considering the Chiefs as a team and organization all stink right now, but Matt Cassel is the main reason the Chiefs are a losing franchise. I say that with some reservations, not because of any doubt that it's true...
"I'm not the type of player that looks over his shoulder," Chiefs quarterback Matt Cassel said this week. In Kansas City and among Chiefs fans everywhere, he doesn't have to look over his shoulder to know they are angry and demanding his job. He can hear that, even if he doesn't watch TV or listen to sports talk radio. The 2012 season was the year where...

Ravens @ Chiefs
Sunday – 10/7/12
This Sunday at 1:00pm the 3-1 Ravens roll into Arrow Head Stadium in Kansas City to take on a struggling 1-3 Chiefs team. Baltimore leads the all-time series between the two with a 3-2 record. Their last meeting ended in a 30-7 beat down in the 2011 playoffs with the Ravens being the victor in that contest. Kansas City is 0-2 at home...
With a quarter-season now in the books, the Ravens sit at 3-1, right where any team wants to be after the first four game stretch of the regular season. Some argue that without the bad offensive pass interference call on Jacoby Jones against the Eagles, the team would be 4-0. However, we should also note that the poorly officiated Patriots game, in which the Ravens escaped by...
Once again, I take a seat to review the Sunday slate and offer analysis and numbers to bring you to the fantasy promised land. And, once again, I do so after a less than thrilling Thursday night game. I take nothing away from the Rams and the nine sacks recorded against Kevin Kolb. It was the pass rush that I had anticipated seeing all season long, and the St. Louis defense delivered...
