Chiefs QB Brady Quinn had a terrifically bad day Sunday against Cleveland, going 10 of 21 for 159 yards plus a pick, and finishing with a passer rating of 53.5 in KC’s 30-7 beatdown at the hands of the Browns.  Quinn’s only highlight on the day was when he tossed a pass down the sidelines that was out of the reach of everyone on the field except for side judge Jeff Lamberth, who wasn’t paying attention despite the fact that the starting QB for the Chiefs was Brady Quinn, and ended up taking the errant pass off the side of the head. Head ranks just below groin on the list of hilarious body parts to get hit with by a wayward ball. Lamberth wasn’t hurt on the play, and was seemingly unfazed by the whole thing.  The fact that Quinn didn’t even knock the ref’s hat off with the uncatchable pass says a lot about his arm strength, or lack thereof. GIFs were made for plays like this (via SB Nation)… It’s stuff like this that makes me think refs should get hazard pay whenever they have to work Chiefs and/or Cardinals games.
