The Chiefs have signed free agent wide receiver Mardy Gilyard, per Gilyard's twitter account.
Gilyard was the 99th overall selection of the 2010 draft by the St. Louis Rams. He played in just 11 games for the Rams in 2010 and finished his rookie season with 6 receptions for 63 yards.
He was released by the Rams the following season during final cut downs after the last pre-season game. He has bounced around the New York Jets and Philadelphia Eagles over the past two seasons having been signed and cut twice by each team.
