Michael Vick’s injury history is the biggest obstacle standing in the way of his return to the Eagles. If Vick was the same guy from 2010, Chip Kelly wouldn’t even blink at his salary. However, the 2013 Vick has suffered multiple concussions, and other injuries that make him a high risk. In 10 NFL seasons, Vick has only played in all 16 games once (2006) and his durability is a huge question for Kelly. According to Mike Freeman of CBSSports.com, the Eagles are interested in Vick, but at a reduced price. They see his high turnover rate a product of not enough protection and poor decision making, are both fixable. However, no one can control injuries and that is the sticking point at the moment. Freeman writes: ‘A person familiar with the Eagles' thinking says new coach Chip Kelly likes the idea of keeping Vick (at a cheaper price) but genuinely doesn't know exactly what he has with the quarterback. Kelly and others on the Eagles' staff have poured over game tape...

  • Vick is a big waste of money..never will complete a season.
If the Eagles want to build a new team GOOD But not with that Loser.
  • I used to be a big Eagles fan, that's before Vick. He's trouble from day one. Don't bank on this loser anytime soon. Will return if he goes, but you keep him bye,bye forever.
  • The Eagles need to get rid of Vick, pronto! He's a blight on the team and has been since day one.

  • Vick is still our best option at quarterback. However, he needs help. It starts with the play calling and then the offensive line. Offensive Coordinator needs to scheme more creatively to keep defenses off balance and O-Line needs to block and open holes better for the running game. Remember, successful quarterbacks like Brady and Manning can knit sweaters with the time they got in the pocket. Vick can barely take a 5-step drop without being hit, let alone 7. Who can throw a pass with people sitting on his chest?
  • Mike is still a good quarterback, he will be okay if only he had an offensive line and better play calling. He and McCoy are the only reason I like the Eagles!
  • They must put Vick in the right offensive set up if they don't then Vick should go where they will.Do what works and get rid of the B.S.
