I expect big things this year from Chargers wide receiver Chris Chambers. This will be his second year in the system, but only his first time having an opportunity to participate in a full training camp and learn the playbook (as opposed to learning JUST the game plan).

Chambers is the perfect complement wide receiver to this offense. He can stretch the field and can be explosive, and for a team that has a big-time running back this style of player is critical. Chambers will make plays on play-action fakes when the defensive safeties are getting a little aggressive and try to get down in the box. His speed and big-play ability will be highlighted nicely in this offense. The Norv Turner Chargers are very good at attacking the safeties down the field, and having someone like Chambers can create problems for opposing defenses.

In the AFC West, where the safeties are not very skilled at covering and covering ground, zone or man, this can create the potential for big offensive plays. From Bernard Pollard and Jarod Page at KC, to Denver's John Lynch and Hazma Abdullah, to Oakland's Gabril Wilson and Michael Huff, there is not a genuinely skilled coverage man in the group.

Expect Chambers to make several big plays this year.
