Another Viking player is in trouble with the law. Saturday evening cornerback Chris Cook was arrested by Lynchburg, Virginia police after reportedly brandishing a handgun during a fight. Cook was born in Lynchburg and attended college at the University of Virginia.
Details are still spotty, so I guess there’s a chance this could turn out to be some kind of mistake. Leslie Frazier certainly hopes it’s all some kind of misunderstanding. After the Everson Griffen situation, he’s certainly tired of delivering sternly-worded lectures to his young defensive players.
With teams currently not allowed to contact players, Frazier will have extra time to decide what exactly he wants to say to Mr. Cook.
