The Steelers placed Chris Hoke and Jonathan Dwyer on Injured Reserve today.  They brought Mortty Ivy and Damon Cromartie Smith on the team to replace them.  Hoke’s injury was to his neck and Dwyer’s was to his foot.  Ivy is a linebacker and Smith is a safety.  The Smith part of the move is unexpected.  With the loss of Dwyer I expected to see Jon Clay join the roster.  Which could still happen over the 10 days off after tonights game.
