By far, one of the biggest disappointments this season has been the dismal play of Titans star running back Chris Johnson. In Week 8, against the Colts’ suspect run defense, CJ2k got off to yet another slow start before he was finally shown the bench. It appears the demotion could be permanent going forward. During the fourth quarter of the Titans’ 27-10 win, backup Javon Ringer received nearly all the touches as Johnson only could watch from the sideline. Up to that point, Johnson had accumulated just 51 total yards, while Ringer ended up doubling that amount, finishing the game with 102 yards — 60 rushing, 42 receiving. Afterwards, coach Mike Munchak declared that the team will begin to use a running-back-by-committee approach, starting with their matchup next Sunday against the Bengals and their stout defense.

Backup Javon Ringer will continue to play with the number...
