The Tennessee Titans have started off the season last in rushing in the entire NFL.  They have put up an embarrassing 29.0 yards per game in the first two weeks against the New England Patriots and the San Diego Chargers.  Chris Johnson has a total of 21 yards in those two game on a 19 carries.  That's just over a yard per carry.

Now today Johnson openly admitted his frustrations with the Titans offense and the lack of production thus far.  It certainly does boil down to the coaching staff and the offensive line for not doing their jobs perfectly, but Johnson hasn't produced at all either.  He has showed little to no explosiveness and ferocity in his step.  You can't just blame your team, when you are one of the reasons the team has struggled so severely to start the year.

With that said, the Titans offensive line needs to step up their game.  They have a talented group, including seven-time Pro Bowl guard Steve Hutchinson, a 2008 Pro Bowl tackle in Michael Roos and David Stewart who has started 92 games for the Titans since being drafted in 2005.  There's no excuse for the lack of protection up front, they are simply not performing the way they are capable of playing.

The coaching staff also needs to make some changes to their game plan, because through the first two weeks, not much of anything has been working for the offense.
