Take one look at the roster of the Tennessee Titans and a few things jump out at you.
The first eye opener is the lack of big name players across the board. Of course there are names that are recognizable like Matt Hasselbeck, Chris Johnson, and Kenny Britt. Looking at the rest of the roster, however, seems to be a who's who of journeymen and untested young players.
Despite the fact that Tennessee is not full of big names, they just missed out on the playoffs last year, being eliminated in a tie breaker on the last day of the regular season
This could truly be a rebuilding year for the team, which is why second year quarterback Jake Locker is in a great position to become the golden boy of the franchise. Locker is currently in a battle with veteran Matt Hasselbeck, but the much older Hasselbeck is on his last legs in the NFL. With a lack of experience on the offensive line and very few weapons at the specialty positions the Titans should begin grooming Locker now.
