Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson made an appearance on 104.5 The Zone Nashville and was asked whether the Titans have told him if they’re going to pick up his $9 million option that kicks in on the fifth day of the new league year.
“Um nah. Honestly throughout all this….throughout everything that’s been going on and all this talk I never have talked to anybody about it,” replied Johnson. ”Nobody has talked to me about it so I’m not sure.”
Johnson was then asked if he’d be surprised f he gets released by the Titans this offseason.
“I don’t know because there’s been so much talk about it,” he said. ”I know there’s problem discussions about it or whatever like that. I couldn’t say I wouldn’t be surprised , but it wouldn’t be no bad blood.”
Johnson was then asked if the big contract he signed a couple of years ago changed him.
“I don’t think so because I was a first rounder and when I first got into the league I was able to get anything I wanted,”
