Denver Broncos guard Chris Kuper twisted his left ankle in a line of scrimmage pile up during the third quarter of the Broncos' 31-23 win over the Cincinnati Bengals Sunday. "He was frustrated, but the ankle was straight," Ryan Clady said via The Denver Post. "It wasn't bent or anything." X-rays revealed no break in the ankle.  Kuper suffered a severe sprain but the extent of his absence wont be known until an MRI is taken Monday. "That's the last guy we want to have this happen to, again," said Broncos left guard Zane Beadles. "It sounds like it's not as bad as it could have been." Kuper just returned to the Broncos lineup in Week 6 after suffering a broken left forearm during practice Aug. 14.   Manny Ramirez is expected to start in Kuper's place.
